What hair types is the CurlGo suitable for?
The SelfStyle™ CurlGo is suitable for fine, normal, thick, straight and wavy hair. Its adjustable heat and curl-time settings allow you to customise the styling experience according to your hair type and preferred curl definition.
Which curl-time setting should I use?
Use 4 seconds for softer, looser waves, 6 seconds for classic, bouncy curls, and 8 seconds for tighter, more defined curls. Start with the shorter setting and increase the timing when more definition is needed.
Can I use the CurlGo on wet hair?
No. The CurlGo should only be used on clean, completely dry and detangled hair. Using a heated styling tool on wet or damp hair may cause unnecessary damage and can affect the final curl result.
How do I use the CurlGo?
Fully charge the CurlGo, detangle your dry hair and divide it into small sections. Select your preferred heat, curl direction and timing, place the end of a section into the curling chamber, then press and hold the curl button while the hair is automatically drawn inside. Release the curl once the timing cycle is complete.
How long do the curls last?
Curl longevity depends on your hair type, the section size, the selected heat and timing, and the styling products used. Allow each curl to cool before brushing or separating it to help maintain its shape for longer.
